Advantages of composite sheet over other non-metallic materials

With the rise of 5G market, the demand for electronic products is increasing, and there are also higher requirements for the appearance and practicability of mobile phones. So what are the advantages of composite plates in the market compared with some non-metallic materials such as glass and plastic?

Material advantage: PC/PMMA composite board can match glass in appearance and product characteristics. Composite plate can achieve 3D glass effect through texture design and 3D high-pressure molding. Different grain design and color effect can be satisfied, and it can be thinner than glass. At the same time, compared with the ordinary plastic composite plate has a stronger resistance to fall and wear, in line with the mobile phone back cover test standards.

Processing advantages: the air high-pressure molding process of composite plates is actually derived from the glass hot bending process. It is to heat the standard composite plastic plates, such as PMMA+PC, into the 3D mold cavity, and then pressurized molding for cooling. Finally, after various surface hardening and decoration processing, CNC precision molding is used to make the finished products.

In terms of effect, the process presses the film onto the mold in the form of air subsection high pressure, and the pressure on the outer surface of PMMA layer is uniform, which can ensure zero damage to the surface of optical film material. Finally, the precision of the product is greatly enhanced by the precision molding of CNC, and the effect is comparable to that of 3D glass.
