How to reduce the motor heating of carving machine
Every precision carving machine will use motor, motor heating is the most common. The heating of precision engraving electromechanical machine will not affect the service life of the motor, general customers do not need to pay attention to, but when it happens some problems will have some impact on the use of the machine. For example, different thermal expansion coefficients of various parts of the motor lead to structural stress changes and small changes in the internal air gap, which will affect the dynamic response of the motor, and the high speed will easily slip out of step. As some places do not allow excessive heating of the motor, so the motor heating should be necessary to control. Then how to control the motor heating situation:
1, reduce motor heating, is to reduce the loss of copper and iron. There are two directions to reduce copper loss, reducing resistance and current, which requires the selection of small resistance and rated current of the motor as far as possible, for two-phase motor, the motor can be in series without parallel motor, but this is often in conflict with the torque and high-speed requirements. For selected motors, full use should be made of the driver's automatic half-current control function, which reduces the current automatically when the motor is at rest, and the offline function, which cuts off the current altogether.
2, in addition to subdivide the driver because the current waveform is close to sine, harmonic, motor heating will be less. There are few ways to reduce the iron loss, and the voltage level is related to it. Although high-voltage driven motor will bring the improvement of high-speed characteristics, it will also bring the increase of heating. Therefore, the appropriate driving voltage level should be selected, taking high-speed, stationarity, heating, noise and other indicators into consideration.
3, the motor heating machine in a reasonable range, is a normal phenomenon, generally will not affect the use of fine carving machine.
